The bill on surveillance will not ultimately be brought to a vote in the Plenary Session of the Parliament.
As stated in a post on the "X" platform by AKEL MP Aristos Damianou, "as a result of today's meeting. It has been agreed that the issue of amending the Constitution on surveillance remains for discussion. Therefore, it will not be taken to the Plenary Session with the current composition of the Parliament and will not be voted on."
