PANCYPRIAN WORK STOPPAGE OF EAC STAFF - 23 APRIL - Pafos Live 22/4
The Electricity Authority of Cyprus informs the public that on Thursday, April 23, 2026, the EAC Customer Service Centres and Offices will remain closed due to the 24-hour Pancyprian work stoppage announced by the Trade Unions.
The Pancyprian work stoppage is not expected to affect the operation of critical infrastructures that affect consumers. In order to ensure the uninterrupted supply of electricity, security personnel are excluded from these measures.
The Agency reminds of the possibilities of electronic payment of bills, easily and securely, in the following ways:
· Through the EAC website www.eac.com.cy
· Through the free EAC Mobile App
· Through the websites of banking institutions
· At all Post Offices in Cyprus
Also, applications for new customers, connections, disconnections and transfers can be made via email. In addition, it is possible, through the EAC Website, to monitor the progress of the application for connection to the Distribution Network as well as for the Photovoltaic Systems.
The EAC apologizes for any inconvenience and assures that it makes every effort to ensure the safe and reliable supply of electricity to consumers.
