In recent days, reports have been made to the Police by citizens, who found handwritten notes on the windscreens of their vehicles, through which they are urged to download a specific application, in order to allegedly inform them about delinquency/robbery issues in their area.
The purpose of the fraudsters is to deceive and extract money or personal information.
We call on the public to be especially careful and suspicious, and in case they become aware of such or similar incidents, to contact the nearest Police Station, or the Citizen's Contact Line at 1460.
