The Limassol District Local Government Organization informs the public that work continues to replace conventional water meters with smart meters, as part of the water supply network modernization project.
According to the announcement, the work is being carried out by the company New Cytech Business Solutions, with the Organization calling on citizens to exercise increased caution and allow access only to authorized persons.
As clarified, the technicians participating in the work wear a vest with the company's marking, have a corporate identity card posted and have an authorization from the Organization, which they can show if requested.
The EOA Limassol clarifies that the crews have access only up to the point of the water meter and do not enter residences, nor do they carry out any work inside them.
For this reason, the Agency calls on the public to be especially cautious of unauthorized persons who may present themselves as technicians.
