FIRE SAFETY WEEK - OPEN DAY EVENT

The Municipality of Paphos, in collaboration with the Cyprus Fire Service and ERB ASFALISTIKI, is implementing an important action in the context of Fire Safety Week 2026 (20 – 26 April), with the aim of effectively informing and raising public awareness on prevention and safety issues.
Specifically, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 to 15:00, at the Medieval Castle Square, in the Port of Kato Paphos, the "OPEN DAY" event will take place, with free admission for the public. The action is aimed at all ages and includes interactive presentations, equipment demonstrations, educational and recreational activities for children and families.
This is an initiative with a strong social character, which aims to strengthen prevention and cultivate a culture of fire safety in the local community, through direct contact of citizens with front-line services.
Presentation of fire trucks and equipment, presentation of equipment, fire safety training activities, rides with children's fire trucks, entertainment elements, such as stilt walking and live link.
