SPECIAL TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE MARCH 25, 2026 PARADE IN PAFOS
The Municipality of Pafos announces that on Wednesday, March 25, special traffic arrangements will be applied in the area where the Parade for the National Anniversary of the Greek Independence will be held for the purpose of the smooth conduct of the event and to facilitate citizens.
The Parade will start at the Monument to National Arch Makarios III and Antistasis heading to the city center via Georgios Griva - Digeni Avenue. From 10.00 a.m. until 1.00 p.m. Georgiou Griva - Digeni Avenue and all its traces, the section of Evagora Pallikaridis Avenue from Kennedy Square to its intersection with Haralambou Muskos Street, will be closed to the traffic of vehicles and other vehicles. 25th March street from its contribution to Ioannis Agroti Street, the section of Nikos Antoniadis Street from its contribution to Pallados Street (P.E.O. Offices) to Kennedy Square and Apostolos Pavlos Avenue from its contribution to Gladstonos and Nikodimos Mylonas Streets.
The following spaces will be used for parking vehicles: Parking Area of the former Police Station (Kennedy Square), Jacob's Stadium (entrance from Grigoris Avxentiou Street), Caravella Parking Area and space in front of the Pontic Hellenic Genocide Monument (Evagora Pallikaridis Avenue).
Drivers are asked to comply with the emergency traffic signs and the instructions of the members of the Traffic of the Paphos Police Directorate and the Traffic Officers of the Municipality of Paphos to avoid unnecessary inconvenience and the risk of causing accidents.
