SCHOOLS CLOSED IN AREA OF THE AKROTIRI BASE - Pafos Press 2/3
A competent source from the Ministry of Education announced that following the drone crash at the Akrotiri Base, preventive measures are being taken regarding the operation of school units in the area.
Specifically, according to the Protoselido program, secondary schools in Trachoni and Episkopi will remain closed as a precaution only. At the same time, primary schools in Akrotiri, Asomatos, Trachoni and Episkopi will not operate.
The same source clarifies that in the event that students have already gone to school units, their smooth and safe return to their homes is ensured or, where deemed necessary, their stay in school premises under the supervision of teachers, until further notice.
