RECYCLING IN MUNICIPALITY OF IEROKIPIA - RESIDENTS OF GEROSKIPOU, KOLONI AND KONIA
The Municipality of Ierokipia informs the residents of Geroskipou, Koloni and Konia that, in the context of strengthening recycling and better serving the citizens, the recyclable materials collection workshop collects PMD packaging (plastic, metal, beverage packaging), as well as paper, from all homes (door to door) once a week.
Specifically, the collection program is as follows:
- Municipal District of Geroskipou (and parish of Koloni): Every Tuesday morning
- Municipal District of Konia: Every Friday morning
Residents of these areas are invited to place their recyclable materials in appropriate bags or bins outside their homes from the night before or early in the morning of the collection day, in order to ensure smooth and timely collection.
The Municipality of Ierokipia, it states in a statement, continues to invest in actions that promote sustainable waste management and the maintenance of a clean and quality environment for residents and visitors.
At the same time, the goal and constant pursuit of the Municipality is to extend the collection program of recyclable materials to the other municipal districts (Timi, Agia Marinouda and Achelia), so that all citizens can actively participate in the recycling process.
