Five flights departing from Paphos airport have been cancelled for today, Thursday 5 March, according to an update by Hermes Airports on its website. So far, no changes have been made to the flight schedule for arrivals.
The cancellations are related to recent developments in the Middle East, which are affecting the flight schedule for several destinations. Specifically, three flights to Tel Aviv, one to Haifa and one to Georgia have been cancelled for today.
Hermes Airports urges passengers who are about to travel to contact their airline or travel agent directly for the latest information regarding the status of their flight. At the same time, it will continue to provide updates as new data becomes available.
As stated in the announcement, the public who have planned a trip are invited to visit the websites of the airlines or contact their travel agent for more specific information regarding flights and reservations.
“Although the situation remains dynamic and the airlines are shaping their flight schedule based on developments, it is noted that, according to current data and the planning so far, additional regular flights to and from Cypriot airports have been scheduled during the second ten days of March,” the announcement conclude
