FOOT AND MOUTH - ALMOST ALL CATTLE VACCINATED - NO NEW CASES - Filenews 30/3
98% of the cattle population and 76% of sheep and goats have been vaccinated for foot-and-mouth disease, according to information from the Ministry of Agriculture.
As far as the second dose is concerned, the percentage of cattle that have been vaccinated is 37.6%. For the second dose, vaccination reaches 10.6% of sheep and goats.
As reported, so far there are no new cases.
It is also noted that a total of 28,516 sheep and goats and 1,910 cattle were slaughtered.
