Every child on the planet knows this story: the White Rabbit with his pocket watch, the mad tea party, talking flowers, the Cheshire Cat who vanishes leaving only his smile, and the Queen of Hearts screaming "Off with their heads!" Lewis Carroll wrote Alice in Wonderland over 160 years ago and it hasn't aged a single minute.
Now it comes alive on stage as a ballet, brought to you by Celebrity Gala. This May, one of the most spectacular productions of the 2026 European ballet tour comes to Cyprus. Celebrity Gala has been working in the Cyprus market for over 3 years, bringing only what we can personally stand behind: every project is carefully selected, every production is a genuinely world-class event.
The story everyone knows and loves
Alice follows the White Rabbit and finds herself in a world where logic doesn't work, time runs backwards, and flowers can argue. Everything here is simultaneously funny and absurd and completely real.
On stage all of Carroll: the mad tea party with the Hatter and the March Hare, croquet with flamingos, the Queen of Hearts' court, and the elusive Rabbit who appears in every scene only to vanish again. Choreographer Mikhail Martynyuk created the performance as a story of growing up: Alice enters an enormous world and learns to stay true to herself, even when everything around her seems like madness.
Debussy's music is a magic of its own
The performance is set to the music of Claude Debussy and this is a truly special choice. No grand marches or triumphant fanfares. Instead, soft, airy melodies woven from light and shadow. The music lulls, then suddenly sweeps you into a whirlwind, then falls silent and in that silence, something extraordinary happens. It is the music that makes you feel Wonderland is real.
For the very young — and for their parents
The production is designed to be loved by children from age 4. The fluffy Cheshire Cat, the fiery Queen, the golden Alice, vivid costumes and non-stop action not a single dull moment. Every scene is full of humour and unexpected twists that hold even the most restless little viewers.
Adults, meanwhile, will find their own layer: a story about courage, and about how important it is not to lose yourself when the world around you stops making sense.
No preparation needed. Everyone knows the story. Just come as a family.
