The Water Development Department is piloting an action to save water in hairdressers and barbershops with the distribution of nozzles to reduce consumption.
In a post, it is stated that the WDD, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, yesterday gave a start to the campaign to reduce water consumption through the free supply and distribution of nozzles to businesses, organizations and residential consumers.
Specifically, the first batch of 1,500 nozzles (1,100 outside faucets and 400 shower flow regulators) was delivered to the president of the Limassol Hairdressing Association – Women & Men, Alexis Nicolaou, for distribution and installation in the hairdressers and barbershops of Limassol.
The WDD will continue to make nozzles available to organized bodies and businesses throughout Cyprus.
