The forest road "Baths of Aphrodite - Fontana Amorosa" in the Akamas National Forest Park will remain closed for two days, due to maintenance work.
In a statement, the Department of Forests of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment states that, due to road surface maintenance works, the road will be closed to the public from Tuesday, February 24, 2026 until Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
The Department of Forests apologizes for the inconvenience that may be caused, pointing out, however, that the works are considered absolutely necessary.
At the same time, it is clarified that in case the works are completed earlier or their extension is required, a new announcement will be issued.
