PAFOS REGIONAL BOARD OF TOURISM TO PARTICIPATE IN INTERNATIONAL TOURISM EXHIBITION FREE MUNICH
The Pafos Regional Board of Tourism (PRBT ) is participating in the international tourism exhibition FREE Munich, taking place in Munich from 18 to 22 February 2026, as part of its targeted strategy to strengthen and qualitatively upgrade tourist flows from the German market.
PRBT presence at the exhibition is of particular importance in view of the launch of three (3) direct weekly flights from Munich to Pafos by Lufthansa. This development creates new momentum for attracting visitors throughout the year and further enhances Pafos’ connectivity with one of the most important markets of Central Europe.
During FREE Munich, PRBT showcases the region’s multi-thematic and diversified tourism product, placing emphasis on: culture and history, nature and rural landscapes, sports and active tourism, gastronomy and local identity, as well as sustainable and smart forms of tourism development.
At the same time, targeted information is provided to tourism professionals or potential visitors, aiming to foster new partnerships and further strengthen the promotion of Pafos in the German market.
PRBT participation in FREE Munich forms part of a broader and coherent outward-looking action plan, which aims at the sustainable development of tourism, the ease of seasonality, and the establishment of Pafos as an attractive, modern, and high-quality destination for the German travel audience.
