DUST, RAIN AND SNOW ON THE MENU - WEATHER FOR THIS WEEK

Weak high pressure temporarily affects the area, while dust will be observed in the atmosphere from today until Wednesday.

Today there will be increased, mainly medium and high clouds at times. Winds will blow northeast to southeast light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and locally to strong, 5 Beaufort. The sea will generally be rough. The temperature will rise to around 22 degrees inland and on the coasts and to 17 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight there will continue to be temporarily increased average and high clouds. The winds will be variable, weak, 3 Beaufort and the sea will be a little rough. The temperature will drop to 9 degrees inland, around 12 on the coast and 7 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Tuesday the weather will be cloudy at times with local rains, mainly in the mountains and in the southwest. On Wednesday, rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected with the phenomena weakening in the afternoon. On the highest peaks of Troodos there may be snowfallOn Thursday, temporarily increased clouds, mainly in the mountains, may give isolated rains.

The temperature will gradually drop over the three days to fluctuate close to or slightly above the average climatic values.
