The Ministry of Defense announces that today it received the conclusion of the investigation conducted within the framework of the General Staff of the National Guard, regarding the case of the loss of explosives in a Firing Range, during a training activity.
The completion of this process, as stated in an announcement, is an essential and necessary step for the objective and documented recording of the events and the clarification of the circumstances under which the incident took place.
"The report identifies specific omissions and responsibilities, which will be addressed within the framework of the internal regulations of the National Guard," it is added.
It is further pointed out that an investigation carried out within the framework of the Cyprus Police is still ongoing.
