Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy landed in Cyprus on Wednesday for meetings with top EU officials as the island assumes the presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The Ukrainian leader is due to meet European Council President Charles Michel and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, as well as attending the opening ceremony for Cyprus’s EU presidency.
His schedule also includes talks with President Nikos Christodoulides and Archbishop Georgios, according to information posted by the NOELREPORTS account.
Video circulated on social media showed Zelenskyy’s arrival at Larnaca airport for the official visit.
