The Ministry of Defence invites all conscripts who complete the sixteenth year of their age during the year 2026 (born in the year 2010), to submit the Declaration of Conscription Details provided for by the National Guard Law.
Submission can be made ONLY through the online government portal https://www.gov.cy/service/dilosi-stoicheion-stratefsimou/. In order to access the government portal, gov.cy is required to create a profile, as a citizen (Natural Person) (click HERE to create a profile -https://cge.cyprus.gov.cy/cyloginregistration/register) as well as to be identified (click HERE for instructions - https://cge.cyprus.gov.cy/cyloginregistration/knowledgebase/help/identification).
The same legislation also provides that "anyone who fails to submit the data declaration, or submits it late or enters inaccurate information on it or submits inaccurate supporting documents, commits an offense and in case of conviction, is subject to imprisonment not exceeding six (6) months or to a fine not exceeding one thousand euros (€1,000.00) or to both of these penalties".
It is reminded that identified minors who have submitted a Declaration of Conscription Details may apply for an exit permit through the digital service "Issuance of a certificate of military status or exit permit", which is sent to them electronically in their Transaction History within three working days.
It is noted that, in order to facilitate the process of submitting a Declaration of Conscription Details and to avoid inconvenience to the parents/guardians of students attending special schools, these declarations will be completed manually in schools with the assistance of the Conscription Offices.
