STORMS, HAIL, SNOW, STRONG WINDS AND DUST

Low pressure affects the area. Dust will be suspended in the atmosphere from time to time.

Today the weather will be locally mostly cloudy and isolated rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected at times. In a storm, hail is possible, while snow or sleet is likely to fall in the higher mountains. Winds will initially blow mainly southwest, light to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort to become mainly northwest by the afternoon, generally moderate 4 Beaufort and temporarily windwise, up to strong 5 Beaufort. The sea will initially be a little rough to rough but will gradually become rough and in the west to wavy. The temperature will rise to around 16 degrees inland and on the coasts and to 6 degrees in the higher mountains.

In the evening the weather will be partly cloudy and light rain may fall locally. The temperature will drop to 6 degrees inland, to 11 on the west coast, around 9 on the rest of the coast and to 2 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost will form locally.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday the weather will be partly cloudy and isolated rains or even isolated thunderstorms are expected from time to time, while sleet or even snow is likely to fall in the higher mountains.

The temperature will gradually rise, to fluctuate slightly above the climatic averages.

The height of the snow in Chionistra, at the time of issuing the bulletin, was 27 cm.
