STELIOS GEORGIOU WANTED IN CONNECTION WITH VARIOUS SERIOUS OFFENCES

The TAE Larnaca proceeded today to identify the alleged perpetrator of yesterday's serious stabbing incident in Larnaca, after examinations. He is a 30-year-old Greek Cypriot, against whom an arrest warrant was issued for a number of serious offenses.

Specifically, 30-year-old Stelios Georgiou is wanted for attempted murder, acts aimed at causing grievous bodily harm, injury, robbery and carrying knives, offenses committed on January 23, 2026 in Larnaca. According to information from police sources, the motives of the criminal act are attributed to personal differences.

According to the Police, the suspect is considered dangerous, while intensive examinations are underway to locate and arrest him. The victim's health condition is characterized as serious but out of danger.
