The attention of drivers is drawn by the Police, as the Prodromos - Troodos road and the road from Troodos Square to Olympus are open only to vehicles equipped with anti-skid chains or with four-wheel drive.
Also, fog prevails on the road network of mountainous areas.
Drivers are urged to be especially careful, drive at low speeds and keep a safe distance from the vehicles in front.
