With a new 24-hour work stoppage tomorrow, Tuesday, taxi drivers continue their mobilizations, from 6 am, until Wednesday at 6 am.
The Pancyprian Urban Taxi Guild POAT notes in a statement that no action and meeting has been taken by the stakeholders.

The Pancyprian Urban Taxi Guild POAT, informs all its members and non-members, that after the four-hour work stoppage that took place on Tuesday 13/1/2026 and due to the fact that no action and meeting has been taken by the involved bodies, we continue our mobilizations as we had announced, with a 24-hour work stoppage tomorrow Tuesday 20/01/2026 from 6am until Wednesday 21/01/2026 at 6am.
In case we are not taken into account this time either, we will continue on an indefinite strike on Tuesday 27/1/2026.
Meeting places at Larnaca and Paphos airports and in Limassol at the parking lot of the Germasogeia River.
