Theme “The Tsambi Grape in the Wine Villages of Limassol District”
The Limassol Region Tourism Development & Promotion Company, with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, created five thematic photography spots with the theme “The Tsambi Grape” in Wine Villages of Limassol District, with the aim of promoting the wine heritage of the region and strengthening the tourist identity of the Wine Villages.
The new photography spots have been placed in the villages of Omodos, Mandria, Koilani, Pachna and Lofou, enhancing the tourist experience and offering visitors unique settings for photographs that capture the authentic identity of the place. The central element of each spot is the artistic depiction of the “Tsambi Grape”, which was designed by the artist Mr. Georgios Mourouzis, especially for the needs of the project. This visual symbol draws inspiration from the region's viticultural tradition and is harmoniously integrated into the natural and cultural landscape of the communities.
Through the creation of elegant photo spots with the theme of "Tsambi Grape", visitors will have the opportunity to experience the richness, colours and aromas of the place, capturing their unique experience through photography and social media.
The initiative is part of the coordinated efforts to promote the wine heritage, increase visitor numbers to the Wine Villages, and create modern, attractive "instagrammable spots" that enhance the region's tourism brand.
The creation of the five photo spots contributes substantially to the strategy of promoting the Wine Villages as cultural and gastronomic tourism destinations, highlighting the tradition and authentic landscape of the Limassol District.
