LARGE SCALE OPERATION IN PISSOURI AREA IN SEARCH FOR MISSING RUSSIAN BUSINESSMAN

A large-scale operation has been underway since Sunday morning to locate a 56-year-old Russian businessman, whose traces were lost in the previous days.

According to information from Filenews, strong police forces, a helicopter, a drone, members of the Civil Defense as well as volunteers are participating in the searches. The investigations have focused on the area of Pissouri, where the last location of the 56-year-old's mobile phone was found.

It is recalled that the 56-year-old has been missing since January 7. The Police issued a statement this morning requesting information that can help locate VLADISLAV BAUMGERTNER, 56 years old, from Russia, who has been absent since 07/01/2026 from his place of residence in Limassol.

The 56-year-old is described as about 1,90 meters tall, of slim build, with grey hair. On his departure, he allegedly wore black shorts and a black short-sleeved shirt.
