Due to snowfall and dense fog which is currently observed at the top of Troodos, all roads in the area have become slippery and dangerous, the Police said in a statement.
Specifically, the road from Troodos Square to the top of Mount Olympus is open only to vehicles equipped with anti-skid chains or with four-wheel drive.
According to the Police, drivers are urged to be especially careful, to drive at low speed, to keep a safe distance from vehicles in front, and to have the headlights of their vehicles on.
