The batch 1001822485 male condoms Durex, Feel Thin and Safe Use Date 6/2029 has been recalled from the Cypriot market, because it does not meet the safety and quality requirements provided by the current legislation on medical devices and its use may pose risks to public health.
The Competent Authority for Medical Equipment calls on consumers in possession of this product not to use it and to return it immediately to the points of sale from where they purchased it.
In particular, in an announcement, the Ministry of Health informs that the product in question is a counterfeit medical device and it is emphasized that the Competent Authority for Medical Equipment continues to investigate the incident, in cooperation with the competent bodies, with the aim of ensuring public health and the complete withdrawal of the product in question from the market.
It is added that in case the availability of other relevant products in the Cypriot market is ascertained, a supplementary or newer announcement will be issued.
