The Holy Monastery of Kykkos is upside down after an obviously misleading "news" that circulates on the internet and brings its Monks to have discovered the cure for serious diseases, even making their "miraculous" preparation, available for payment, through an electronic platform.
The relevant article has the Abbot of the Monastery giving an interview informing about the discovery of the miraculous cure while also presenting photos (an AI product) of him with doctors, who, according to the one they cite the Monastery, are Cypriots and turned to him when their patients from Larnaca were cured after taking the preparation.
This website describes the "prescription" of the drug, which of course includes various herbs but also "testimonies" of people who allegedly took the drug and were cured.
The spokesman of the Holy Archdiocese of Cyprus, Christakis Efstathiou, told Filenews that this is definitely not the case, called on citizens to be especially careful and not to be misled and referred to the Holy Monastery of Kykkos which will take a position within the day on the specific issue in order to restore the truth.
In their attempt to attract customers, the makers of this particular false news refer to a well-hidden secret of centuries, to a secret formula that the Monastery had well guarded, but also to terrifying, in some cases, comments about the fatal outcome of musculoskeletal diseases that the miraculous drug cures.
They cite, among others, patients from Larnaca, a group of Cypriot doctors and people who were cured who are named: Elisavet Marciniak and Krzysztof Mazur.
