The adventure of the four Israelis who were missing in the sea area between Cyprus and Israel had a happy ending.
According to information from RIK, the sailing boat that sailed from Israel on December 2 to Crete and was missing was located on Wednesday afternoon by the members of the Search and Rescue Coordination Center.
Throughout the day, the JCCC carried out investigations, in cooperation with Greece and Israel.
As part of the investigations, the "Nearchos" project was activated and to locate the sailing ship, aircraft of the Republic of Cyprus and floating boats were mobilized.
In a statement issued in the afternoon, the Israeli Foreign Ministry said it was working together with Greece and Cyprus to locate the Israeli vessel.
It is also noted that an investigation has already been ordered into how the sailing was allowed with warnings about the approaching storm.
