CYPRUS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT - ROAD TAX RENEWAL
The portal will open for road tax renewal for 2026 on 7 January 2026.
You can access the portal via:
https://www.gov.cy/en/service/renewal-of-road-tax/ or
https://rtd.mcw.gov.cy/WebPhase1/gui/Common/LoginFrameGreek.jsp?lang=en - ignore username and password - click on Road Tax Renewal.
You will need
- Registration number
- Last 3 digits of car owner's reference no - ID card no, company reg no, passport no, Alien's book - ie the document that was used when you purchased the vehicle
- Renewal period
You have to complete the renewal by 11 March
