The Police are investigating a case of robbery, committed last night in the province of Limassol, with the victim of a food distributor.
According to the data under examination, around 10.45 last night, a 24-year-old food distributor was called to deliver an order, in an area of the Limassol district.
After delivering the order and setting off to return to his base, according to him, he was attacked by a number of people who had their faces covered with hoods and were holding sticks, while according to the complainant, one person was holding a knife.
According to the complainant's claim, one of the above pushed him, as a result of which he fell off his motorcycle and then received a blow to his arm but without being injured. The 24-year-old abandoned his motorcycle at the scene and fled on foot where at some distance, a passer-by stopped who alerted the Police.
Members of the Police went to the spot where they located the complainant and his motorcycle. A subsequent check revealed that the keys to the motorcycle and the complainant's mobile phone were stolen. The perpetrators allegedly fled before the arrival of the members of the Police at the scene.
The Episkopi Police Station continues the examinations.

On December 6, 2025, officials of the Customs Department at Paphos Airport, after evaluating information, located a passenger with British citizenship before her departure for the United Kingdom. Her luggage contained large quantities of tobacco products, which did not bear the warning mark on the harmful nature of smoking in Greek and Turkish, nor the security feature and the unique traceability code. These figures indicate that the products were duty-free.
Specifically, 225 boxes of 200 cigarettes each were found and confiscated in the passenger's three luggage.
The passenger was arrested for flagrante delicto offenses and taken to detention. Today, Sunday, she will appear before the Paphos District Court, with a request for her 4-day detention.

Around 8.50 last night, information was received about a road collision between two cars on Makarios III Street in Akaki.
Members of the Police went to the scene where they located the two drivers, aged 35 and 64.
The drivers were subjected to a breathalyzer test with the reading as far as the 64-year-old is concerned being 8μg, while the final reading regarding the 35-year-old was 157μg instead of 22μg, which is the maximum limit by the Law, and he was arrested for a flagrante delicto.
The 35-year-old, who was injured, was transported by ambulance accompanied by Police to Nicosia General Hospital where he was given first aid and discharged.
The 35-year-old was then taken into custody while the Peristerona Police Station continues the examinations.

A clash of persons took place on Saturday in the province of Famagusta.
According to the Police, there was an incident with stones thrown between people on a road in Liopetri.
The clash caused damage to a vehicle of those involved, which was abandoned on a community road.
The Police are conducting investigations to identify the persons involved in the incident.

Around 7 yesterday afternoon, a 36-year-old man went to the Ledra roadblock from the occupied areas in order to cross into the free areas.
During the check of his travel documents, it was found that a red notice was pending against him as he was wanted by a third country in connection with an investigated case of conspiracy, attempted murder, illegal possession, transport and use of a firearm as well as illegal possession and use of explosives, offenses committed on 23/4/2025.
The 36-year-old was arrested on a provisional arrest warrant and was taken into custody and is expected to appear before the Nicosia District Court today to begin the extradition process.
The exams continue at the TAE of Nicosia.
