The recall due to defective TAKATA driver's airbags for an additional 132 vehicles has been carried out by the company CIC Automasters, the manufacturer OPEL/VAUXHALL, with an instruction to the owners to immediately immobilize them, the Department of Road Transport (TOM) announced.
In a statement, the TOM states that the 132 vehicles are in addition to those announced on 17/10/2025 and 20/11/2025. It adds that it has proceeded to revoke the certificate of suitability of the vehicles in question.
In view of the above, the TOM invites the owners of the vehicles to contact the distributor of the manufacturer, which in Cyprus is the company CIC Automasters, for further instructions.
