The President of the Republic will inaugurate tonight the Museum of Freedom in Chloraka, which has been created in a historically charged area of the EOKA struggle. The museum is located on Christodoulou Polydorou Street and was the residence of Nikolaos Azinas, who was used as an arsenal of the struggle and hiding place for Georgios Grivas when he arrived in the area.

The inauguration will take place at 6.00 p.m. and the ceremony also includes an introductory speech by the president of the Management Committee of EOKA Museums and Monuments of EOKA Paphos, Kleovoulos Papakostas, greetings from the president of the Community Council of Chloraka, Nikolas Liasidis, the president of the EOKA Historical Memory Council of the EOKA race, Andreas Maimaridis, songs about the EOKA struggle by the choir of the Evagoras Paphos Association under the direction of Zacharias Evangelou, the speech by the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides and the unveiling of the commemorative plaque.
