A multidisciplinary medical conference of the Paphos Medical Association "Asclepius" is taking place on December 13 and 14 at the Aqua Mare Hotel on the coastal avenue of Kato Paphos-Geroskipou, under the auspices of the Pancyprian Medical Association.
The conference will present modern developments and clinical practices in the fields of pathology, cardiology, gynaecology, paediatrics, surgery and orthopaedics, with the participation of distinguished scientists from Cyprus and abroad.
The scientific program includes cutting-edge topics such as emergencies in paediatric cardiology, modern cardiac surgery techniques, HPV and cervical pathology (via Zoom), nosocomial infections, neonatal resuscitation, innovative gynaecological treatments, as well as new data in surgical and orthopaedic approaches.
The conference aims to enhance interdisciplinary cooperation and the continuous training of health professionals, contributing to the upgrading of health services in Cyprus.
The opening ceremony of the conference will take place at 6.30pm on Saturday, December 13 and will include an award ceremony by Dr. Kontogiorgis (PRI) and a presentation of the Association's new website.
An announcement by the Paphos Medical Association "Askplipios" states that participation in the conference will be free for all health professionals, while it will be credited with 8 CME points by the Pancyprian Medical Association.
