The Ministry of Education made the announcement that the private primary school does not meet the provisions of the current legislation governing the operation of private schools, informing the public. This is the "American Private School (Limassol)".
According to the Ministry of Education, the school in question "does not meet the provisions of the Private Schools Law of 2019 in terms of the certificates of suitability that it must provide for its building facilities. Therefore, the Ministry of Education reserves the right to take further actions, as required by law."
It is recalled that issues related to the operation of private schools of various educational levels often concern the public sphere, while many times they are also raised before the Education Committee of the Parliament. On the part of the Ministry of Education, it is pointed out that its office responsible for Private Education proceeds with the necessary checks and when irregularities or deviations from the provisions of the legislation are found, it takes all the necessary actions.
