An unprecedented and paradoxical incident took place at noon on Sunday in Limassol, when a woman allegedly pushed a vehicle into the sea, in the area of Karnagio, raising questions among citizens and the Police.

According to information from Filenews, citizens who were cycling along the bicycle path at the time, noticed the woman moving suspiciously. According to reports, the woman headed towards the car,  lowered the parking brake, then pushed the vehicle with decisive movements, until it ended up in the sea.

Soon after, the suspect left the scene, moving nervously and leaving bystanders shocked, trying to figure out what had just happened.

The citizens immediately notified the Police. Patrols arrived at the scene within minutes, cordoning off the area and starting on-site inspections. After procedures, the vehicle was pulled out of the sea by tugboat and transported to the Limassol Police Department for further examinations. The authorities then managed to locate the owner of the vehicle. According to our information, the woman, by court order, is expected to be examined by a government psychiatrist.
