Authorities are investigating a motorcycle arson in Aglantzia on Sunday night, with the Nicosia TAE having taken over the case.
According to information, unknown persons set fire to a scooter shortly after 23:00, while it was parked on a road in the area. Fire brigades responded immediately and managed to extinguish the fire.
The motorcycle, however, was completely destroyed.
Investigators are looking for the owner of the motorcycle, who is a foreigner and resides permanently in Cyprus, but has not been located so far. The investigations of the TAE Nicosia continue

The Police today arrested a 25-year-old man, to facilitate the interrogations regarding an ongoing case of assault and causing actual bodily harm, attempted kidnapping, threat, extortion and illegal possession of an offensive instrument.
Specifically, a 46-year-old resident of Larnaca reported to the Police that at around 5 p.m., he was attacked by three men while he was outside his home. According to the complainant, one of the three men beat him with a bat, while the alleged perpetrators then tried to forcefully transport him to their car. As the 46-year-old reported, he resisted, as a result of which he managed to escape.
Police investigations yielded evidence against the 25-year-old, based on which a warrant was issued for his arrest. Early this afternoon, the 25-year-old was arrested and taken into custody to facilitate interrogations.
Two more persons were arrested to facilitate investigations into an investigated case of assault and attempted kidnapping, which took place yesterday in Anafotia, Larnaca, against a British citizen.
According to the Police, as part of the investigation of the above case, yesterday afternoon, on the basis of a court warrant, they arrested a 25-year-old and a 34-year-old, while the authorities handcuffed a third person involved. All three, two Greek Cypriots and a foreigner, will appear before the Larnaca Court today.
The Kofinou Police Station is continuing its investigations.
