Regarding the incident that took place on Sunday 02/11/2025 and concerns a road collision between a vehicle and a patrol car, after examinations carried out by the Police to locate the vehicle, the details of the vehicle in question and the owner were identified.
She is a Greek Cypriot, who was interrogated today by members of the Nicosia Police Department and admitted her involvement in the road collision and the abandonment of the scene.
As it appears from the investigations, the incident is not related to the location of the weapon and is being examined as a road collision with abandonment.

A 48-year-old man, a resident of the province of Larnaca, who was wanted to facilitate investigations into two cases committed in Larnaca, in the previous period, was arrested last night, pursuant to a court warrant and taken into custody.
The first case concerns the offenses of conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor, interference in judicial proceedings, and threat, committed on 03/11/2025, in Larnaca. Police investigations into the death of a 30-year-old woman, who was found dead on Sunday morning in an apartment in the area of the Germasogeia River in Limassol, are in full swing. The circumstances, under which he was located, were judged from the first moment to be suspicious, alerting the Police and the Limassol Police Department.
The Assistant Police Director and Spokesman of ADE Limassol, Lefteris Kyriakou, made statements about the case, who stated the following:
"Around 11 in the morning we were informed by the Ambulance Service that they had received a call and visited an apartment in the area of the Germasogeia River, where a woman, aged about 30, was found inside the apartment, who was unconscious and was found dead.
The circumstances under which the woman was located needed to be investigated and officers and members of the Limassol Police Department, as well as other patrols, immediately arrived at the scene, without ruling out any possibility.
Also, the Assistant Chief – Prevention and Combating of Crime, as well as the Limassol Police Director went to the scene. At the moment, examinations are being carried out by the medical examiners, who are expected to give us more details in relation to the circumstances of death."
Asked whether the woman lived alone in the apartment, Mr. Kyriakou replied: "She had been living in this apartment for the last few days with other people. However, as you can see, it is too early. We are waiting for the tests to be completed on stage and as soon as we have something more, you will be informed."
Asked if arrest warrants have been issued or if persons are being questioned, Mr. Kyriakou noted: "As I have told you, it is too early to say more. Some persons are being interrogated and, if there is anything further, you will be informed."
