A further seven third-country nationals, who were illegally in Cyprus, were returned to their countries, through forced and voluntary return procedures.
These persons returned to their country, as part of a joint forced return flight of the FRONTEX Agency, carried out last Tuesday, November 4, by the German authorities. This is the 16th participation of the Cyprus Police in joint return operations of the FRONTEX organization, for the year 2024.
It is worth noting that from the beginning of 2025, until November 5, 10446 third-country nationals who resided illegally in Cyprus have been deported or repatriated to their countries of origin. During the corresponding period last year, this number amounted to 8469.
