The mass installation of smart meters in all districts by the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) continues, while for the safe replacement of the meter, an interruption of the supply is required for a period of time that is not expected to exceed 20 minutes.
In its announcement, it states that from today, Thursday and for the whole month of November, smart meters will be installed in Aglantzia, on either side of Larnaca Avenue, from the height of the University of Cyprus to the height of the Satirical Theater, in Limassol, north of Pentadromou and Between Makarios III, Thessaloniki, Gladstonos and Evagoras Christoforou Streets, while in Larnaca to the east of the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium, between Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue and Grigori Afxentiou Avenue.
The EAC in the province of Famagusta will install smart meters in Paralimni, between Protaras Avenue (Up to the height of the Second Primary School of Paralimni), Kappari Avenue and Giorgi Papadopoulou Street, up to the height of the New Famagusta Police Station, on either side of Kappari Avenue and on both sides of Giorgi Papadopoulou Street while in Paphos between Ellados, Tassos Papadopoulos Avenues, Dimokratias, Eleftherios Venizelos, Nikos Nikolaidis and Charalambou Mouskou and Evagoras Pallikaridi Streets.
Concluding the announcement, the EAC reminds that the safe replacement of the meter requires an interruption of the supply for a period of time that is not expected to exceed 20 minutes and apologizes for any inconvenience.
