The project "Osmotic and Improvement Works of the Core, the Square and the Lower Fountain in Geroskipou" is in progress. The relevant agreement was signed last month, has a total cost of €4,158.227 plus VAT and is co-financed by the cohesion policy program THALIA 2021 – 20127.
The project includes the improvement/reconstruction of a section of Konstantinou Palaiologou Street, approximately 620 meters long, a section of Evagora Pallikaridi, Aphrodite, Agia Paraskevi and Agia Sofia streets, approximately 900 meters long, connection of "Kato Vrysi" with the Linear Park of Seven St George, upgrading of the green area with large trees, undergrounding of public utility services, improvement of rainwater drainage, Enhancement of street lighting, horizontal and vertical signage, etc.
The project is expected to be completed in fifteen months. During the works, temporary traffic arrangements will be made and drivers and pedestrians are requested to follow the instructions of the competent authorities for the safety of all and the limitation of inconvenience.
