The legislation provides for extrajudicial punishment for the following offenses:
Imposition of an extrajudicial fine on those who do not pick up their dog's faeces. The fine will also be imposed in cases where the animal's owner does not have bags with him to collect the faeces.
Imposition of an extrajudicial fine in cases where the dog or dogs are walking unaccompanied or without a leash.
Imposition of an extrajudicial fine in cases where the dog does not carry an identification number code (microchip) or its owner does not have the necessary permits.
Imposition of an extrajudicial fine in the event that dangerous breeds, which are: Pit Bull Terrier or American Pit Bull, Japanese Tossa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brazileiro, do not wear a protective muzzle.
