The cost of energy upgrade of the offices of the Audit Office is causing dizziness. Based on the data submitted, the works that started on 16/1/2025 and are expected to be completed on 16/5/2027 at a cost of €11.5 million.
In the case of the upgrade of the Offices of the Department of Public Works, the works began on 24/08/2020 and their completion is expected within 2025 for an amount (contract) of €7.42 million. + VAT. The expenses from 2026 will concern 12 years of maintenance of the building.
The cost of installing a Security System in the Fencing of the Vasilikos Energy Center, which was budgeted at €5.5 million, is also impressive. Especially for the year 2026, an expenditure of € 0.7 million was foreseen.
Regarding the installation of signal detection and call blocking systems in the Prison Department, the cost is expected to amount to €4.15 million. Completion is set for June 2026.
In addition, the new Closed Circuit Monitoring System in the Prison Department, the implementation of which is in progress, will cost €6.3 million. and the Expected expenditure for the year 2026 will be €3.15 million.
Regarding the subsidy plan for the installation of recharging points in publicly accessible areas, to businesses and local authorities, the cost will be €4 million.
The expected expenditure for 2026 will be €1.5 million.
For the installation of new high-power recharging points to meet the targets included in the National Policy Plan for the Development of Alternative Fuels Infrastructure, €2.5 million will be spent. and for 2026, an allocation of €0.7 million is foreseen.
