The European Mobility Week since 2002 has been established as the most important institution at European level for promoting sustainable mobility standards and, by extension, for the formation and development of environmental ethics. The purpose of the actions implemented during this period is to encourage European local authorities to introduce and promote sustainable modes of transport and to raise awareness among citizens about the use of alternative modes of transport in their cities.
The event will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, starting at Kennedy Square at 6.00 p.m.
The event takes place in collaboration with the Paphos Cycling Club and the company Next Bike, which will provide bicycles upon registration of participation from those who need them.
The purpose of the event is to give the message that we can use alternative means of public transport to move around our city. In this way, not only do we keep ourselves in good physical condition, but we also actively contribute to reducing air pollution and noise.
