The Department of Road Transport announced that, according to information received from the Consumer Protection Service, during the 35th week of 2025 on the website of the EU Rapid Alert System for Dangerous Non-Food Products (Safety Gate), dangerous vehicles and tyres were notified.
With the announcement, the Department invites the manufacturers, representatives, distributors of the manufacturer, importers and sellers, who may have placed or place such products on the market of the Republic of Cyprus, to inform the Department of Road Transport accordingly. It notes that the above economic operators must take all necessary measures so that the products in question are recalled as provided for in the relevant legislation.
The Department also invites consumers, in case they own a dangerous vehicle or motorcycle, to contact the manufacturer or the manufacturer's representative or distributor for instructions.
The recalled vehicles in question are the following:
