Mario Dias, pianist, will perform at Technopolis 20 for the second time on Wednesday, October 22, at 20:00. The programme will include works by: Francisco Mignone: Valsas Brasileiras Nos. 1–12 (Brazilian Waltzes Nos. 1–12) and Camargo Guarnieri: Ponteios Nos. 1, 3 and 5, and Improviso No. 3.
A few words about Mario Dias
Mario Dias, brazilian pianist, had his first formal training with Jorge Preiss, a piano teacher and organist. At 19 he entered the University of Santa Catarina’s Music School, where he was guided by Ione Urbano Sant’Anna. Later he became a pupil of the pianist Alberto Heller. He has performed in the Brazilian cities of Itajaí, Joinville, Jaraguá do Sul, Aracaju and Florianópolis. In 2017, he played for the first time in Cyprus.
