The Road Transport Department of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works has announced the reallocation of grants under the E-Mobility Promotion Plan in Cyprus, following the cancellation of 14 applications in category C9.
The new sponsorships will be available on the online application portal on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 09:00 a.m. The portal, which was deactivated on September 5, 2025, will remain open until September 16, 2025, at 24:00, or until the available sponsorships are exhausted.
Category C9 concerns a sponsorship of €9,000 for the purchase of a used private vehicle with zero CO2 emissions. It is noted that vehicles registered in the Register of the Registrar of Motor Vehicles before the date of registration of the application are not eligible.
The registration process will be done exclusively online on the website of the Department of Road Transport, while the Ministry reserves the right to terminate the process earlier, with a relevant announcement of at least seven days.
It is noted that the implementation of the approval for this call for additional applications must be completed by 31 October 2025.
