The Digital Assistant on gov.cy portal is enriched as of today with new functions concerning the Department of Road Transport, offering citizens immediate and reliable service on a 24-hour basis.
In particular, citizens can now ask questions about:
- Vehicle registration certificate
- Driving licence
- Road Use License
- Road Transport Licence
- Certificate of professional competence
In addition, the Assistant provides information on the Electromobility Promotion Plan, which aims to reduce CO₂ emissions, as well as on vehicle recalls related to airbag replacement.
Since its launch nine months ago, it has answered over 180,000 citizens' questions, becoming an important information and service tool. With the continuous addition of topics, it is evolving into an increasingly useful means of communication between the citizen and the State.
The Digital Assistant accepts questions in writing or by voice, in Greek and English, while also understanding Grenglish. Access is through the gov.cy portal, the "Digital Citizen" application, but also from the websites of Ministries and Deputy Ministries.
