Cyprus is back in a heat wave orbit from tomorrow Friday, as a warm gas mass is expected to affect the region, significantly raising the temperature.
According to the forecast of the Department of Meteorology, tomorrow the temperature will reach 39 degrees Celsius in the interior, 32 degrees on the west coast, 35 degrees on the rest of the coast and 31 degrees in the higher mountains.
The weather will be mainly clear, while the winds will blow variable, to gradually become southwest to northwest, weak to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be up to a little rough.
Tonight, the temperature will drop to 22 degrees inland, around 24 degrees on the coast and 20 degrees in the mountains. The winds will blow mainly from the northwest, weak 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be up to a little rough.
Over the weekend and Monday, the weather will remain mostly clear and warm. The temperature will continue to rise until Sunday, with Monday stabilizing at levels significantly above normal for the season.
