A festive event for the day of the national flag of the Russian Federation, which this year is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the anti-fascist victory during the Second World War, was organized last night in Paphos by the Cyprus-Russian Friendship Association.
Citizens gathered with their vehicles outside the Stelios Kyriakidis stadium forming a procession to the Castle in Kato Paphos. Then, after parking their vehicles, they walked on foot from the square of the Medieval Castle of Paphos to the municipal baths holding a huge flag of the Russian Federation.
In the square of the municipal baths, an artistic program was presented. The police had taken measures to police the event.
