Images and activities from the past of the Cypriot countryside are revived every August in the communities of the Paphos district.
The cultural events organized by the local authorities bring hundreds of expatriates, city dwellers, as well as visitors from all over the province and foreign travelers, who have the opportunity, among other things, to see traditional dishes prepared on site and taste them immediately afterwards.
The production of "ppalouze", "resiou", traditional bread, as well as other products, are always the most popular attraction of these cultural events.
Which culminate with the concerts organized on this day by almost all communities, with the participation of singers from Greece as well.
